Purpose and recipient

This site shares videos and news selected by the NeuralTrace operator. Optional analytics helps understand visits; optional location sharing is a separate visitor-data demonstration and is not needed to read or watch. Optional data is stored using Cloudflare Workers and D1 and viewed through a protected admin dashboard. Cloudflare processes requests to deliver and secure this site, including when optional analytics is off.

YouTube players load from youtube-nocookie.com only after you click Play. Playing a video sends network and playback information to YouTube, which has its own privacy practices. Opening a source link or sharing a story connects to the destination you choose. Public stories and their summaries stay published until the owner deletes them; the 24-hour retention below applies to optional visitor submissions.

What is collected

Analytics, when allowed, includes browser-reported device/browser details, languages, timezone, dimensions, page performance, visibility time, scroll depth and developer-labelled clicks. Extra device and network diagnostics are a separate checkbox. A random page-session ID groups analytics events. The server adds the connecting public IP and available approximate IP country, region and city to submissions. VPNs and proxies affect that information.

Location sharing is a separate choice. For up to 45 seconds, your browser compares fresh readings locally and submits only the reading with the smallest reported accuracy radius, with altitude, heading and speed when available. It stops early at a reported accuracy radius of 10 m or less. You can cancel, and hiding or leaving this page stops acquisition. Intermediate readings are not sent to the server. High accuracy is a request, not a guarantee. We do not request your camera, microphone, files or contacts, and do not track your location in the background.

Consent and cookies

Optional analytics starts only after you allow it. Location additionally uses the browser permission system. The site uses a first-party security cookie named __Host-nt, expiring within one day, to associate consent and protect submissions from cross-site requests. Consent records include purpose, notice version, time and expiry. The browser's stored location permission is separate from your choice to submit a reading here.

Retention and deletion

Submitted records and consent receipts become unavailable after 24 hours. A cleanup job removes expired rows from the active database on a 15-minute schedule, subject to platform operation. Cloudflare may retain recovery copies and service/security logs under its own retention policies; deleting an active row does not instantly erase provider backups.

While this page session remains open, use “Stop and delete this session” or “Delete my shared reading” to withdraw the relevant choice and delete associated records from the active database. These controls rely on receipts kept in page memory. After closing or reloading, those controls cannot identify earlier submissions; they expire automatically, and the operator can also delete individual records. Clearing browser permission alone does not delete saved submissions.

Limits and access

Browser values may be missing, inaccurate or forged. IP location is approximate. Only authorized administrators may read saved records. This service does not sell data or send it to advertising analytics providers. Cloudflare services may process data outside your country. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
